N-LIST stands for "National Library and Information services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content". Basirhat College is a member of N-LIST Programme. The authorized users from college can access e-resources and download articles required by them directly from the publisher's website. One can access upto 6,000+ journals, 1,99,500+ ebooks through this website.

NPTEL is an acronym for National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning. It is aninitiative by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur,Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for creating coursecontents multiple disciplines. It offers a huge number of courses that help enhanceknowledge and skill. Basirhat college has become a part of this major project by becoming alocal chapter. Interested students as well as faculty members can enrol for variousprogrammes.

Spoken Tutorial is a multi-award-winning educational content portal. Here one can learn various Free and Open-Source Software all by oneself. The self-paced, multi-lingual courses ensure that anybody with a computer and a desire for learning, can learn from any place, at any time and in a language of their choice.End-of-Course online tests and certificates are available for those who wish to test their expertise in a particular software. These certificates are recognized throughout India and give an edge to students during placement by increasing their employability potential. Basirhat college is an nodal-centre of this project.

E-PG Pathshala is an initiative of the MHRD under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT) being executed by the UGC. The content and its quality being the key component of education system, high quality, curriculum-based, interactive e-content in 70 subjects across all disciplines of social sciences, arts, fine arts and humanities, natural & mathematical sciences, linguistics and languages have been developed by the subject experts working in Indian universities and other R & D institutes across the country.

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided.

EGyanKosh- a National Digital Repository to store, index, preserve, distribute and share the digital learning resources developed by the Open and Distance Learning Institutions in the country.All materials are available free of cost here. The objective of this endeavour is to provide complete materials of all courses to the candidates so they can learn online and complete their studies with a new modern way of education.

Vidya-mitra is an online learning portal for all the e-content projects developed under the NME-ICT (National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology), MHRD. The portal provides facility to search and browse all hosted content wherein a learner can easily access the desired material including audio/video learning material, textual material, multimedia-enriched materials etc. through a single interface. Moreover, features of faceted search, usage statistics, project-wise access, My-Space are incorporated in this portal.

Virtual Labs project is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under the aegis of National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT).Under Virtual Labs project, over 100 Virtual Labs consisting of approximately 700+ web-enabled experiments were designed for remote-operation and viewing.Virtual Labs do not require any additional infrastructural setup for conducting experiments at user premises. The simulations-based experiments can be accessed remotely via internet. This site will be very useful for the students of pure science.

The SWAYAM PRABHA is a group of 22 DTH channels devoted to telecasting of high-quality educational programmes on 24X7 basis using the GSAT-15 satellite. Every day, there will be new content for at least (4) hours which would be repeated 5 more times in a day, allowing the students to choose the time of their convenience. Curriculum-based course contents at post-graduate and under-graduate level covering diverse disciplines such as arts, science, commerce, performing arts, social sciences and humanities, engineering, technology, law, medicine, agriculture, etc are provided here.
