About the Department

Arabic department of Basirhat College started its journey from 2017-18 academic year. From the beginning the department has been offering Arabic general degree course as a part of B.A General Programme. Arabic general is also available for the Honours students of various Programmes as a Generic Elective subject. Every year a number of students studying B.A General or Honours Programme in Basirhat College take Arabic as one of their Discipline Specific Core subject or Generic Elective subject.

He joined the department of Arabic on 2021, He obtained B.A and M.A (Hons) from the University of Calcutta. His area of interest is Modern Arabic language and literature.Read More..
